Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician with an active New York State license. The role involves approximately 95% OB-related duties and 5% GYN. This is an ongoing contract with an immediate start date.

Shift Details:

• 1 twenty-four hour hospital call shift every 7 days (must be onsite, no pager, provider needs to be physically present in the hospital)
• 2 eight-hour clinic days per week (Monday-Friday)
• Call shifts may occur any day of the week; need to be available for onsite responsibilities during the hospital call.
• Onsite ultrasound available. Deliveries are performed at Good Samaritan Hospital, supporting around 1500 deliveries annually.

Work Details:

• Support staff includes 5 other OB providers and midwives
• Assistance from LPN, MA, Receptionist, and other physicians during Sunday call shifts
• Minimum availability required: 3 to 4 weeks per month
• Patient throughput: approximately 14 patients per day, with visits every 30 minutes
• Patient demographic: Teenagers and adults

Additional Information:

• EMR system used: eClinicalWorks
• Facility is a community health center with hospital and clinic services
• Practice setting includes hospital, outpatient clinics, and potential telemedicine services
• Credentialing timeframe: approximately 60-90 days
• Certification requirements: Board Certified in OB/GYN, must hold a valid DEA license, and be licensed in New York.

Shift Schedule:

• Day shift, 5x8 hours (09:00 - 17:00)

Travel:

• Preference for local providers to minimize travel expenses; drive-in/mileage reimbursement preferred.
