Key responsibilities of the RN – Med Surg / Telemetry include:

• Manage patient care in a med/surg setting, including post-operative and respiratory patients
• Float between units as needed, including floors for cardiac and stroke patients
• Administer medications and perform thorough patient assessments
• Utilize EPIC for patient documentation and tracking
• Participate as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve quality patient care

Requirements of the RN – Med Surg / Telemetry include:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Med Surg / Telemetry
• Active RN license with no sanctions
• ACLS & BLS certifications required
• Proficient in EPIC charting system
