Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of two years of acute care experience within the last three years License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: EPIC Experience required Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to being cleared to start. Description: This position involves day and night shifts with a rotation every other weekend and holidays as needed. The traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last three years. Experience in using the EPIC charting system is required. BLS certification is required. The hospital seeks an RN who will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a professional environment. The role involves caring for patients with complex medical diagnoses. The unit is a fast-paced acute care setting focused on high-quality patient care. Interdisciplinary support is available, including teams for physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. The position includes providing care to patients with general internal medicine diagnoses and infectious diseases. Travelers will be required to float as needed within the unit. The work environment encourages collaboration, respect, and education among nursing staff. Telemetry testing will have strict passing criteria, with two attempts allowed. The traveler must demonstrate the ability to identify lethal rhythms accurately and pass the required examinations. Failure to meet the testing criteria could result in assignment cancellation.
