Press Brake Set Up/OperatorISO9001:2015 certified contract precision metal manufacturing company delivering metal components to Fortune 500 companies at our St. Paul facility. We are currently seeking a skilled press operator.The sheet metal Press Brake position offers you a solid company where you can establish long-term employment that will offer growth and opportunity.Pay $22-26Shift - Weekend Shift 5am to 5pm (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)2nd shift 3:30pm to 2:00am Monday thru ThursdayEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Set-up and run forming operations with tolerances of +/-.010" to +/-.030" on.036 gauge to .187 gauge sheet metal.Set-up and run of Cincinnati CNC Controlled and Amada® HDS sheet metal press brakesInspect work, making necessary notations on work routers.Reviews job/production orders and interprets accompanying prints and drawings to determine job requirements, check for accuracy of information, and identify any discrepancies or special needs.Insures that all work is done in accordance with and adheres to Company ISO and Quality standards.Prepares and cleans product surfaces, as necessary, for desired operation.Communication with each operator at your shift change (let them know what's going on or coming up).Trouble shoot production problems.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge/Skills & Abilities:Understands and promotes company's mission, values and quality policy.Exhibits the personal characteristics we value of good attitude, intelligence, integrity and humility.General working knowledge of metal fabrication.Ability to read and understand job specifications, shop drawings and blueprints.Strong mathematical aptitude.Experience inspecting your own parts using various dimensional tools such as calipers, micrometers and gages.Good judgement, decision making and communications skills.Good attendance and punctuality and willingness to work overtime as needed.Ability to work wells with others in a manufacturing/fabrication environment.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to stand for 8-12 hours.Reliable transportation.Required Education & Experience:1 + years of Laser experience (will train)Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent.Completion of an apprenticeship program, technical or trade school training program a plus.Express Employment Professionals provides one of the most comprehensive benefits packages in the industry while working on our payroll.Weekly PayPay options- direct deposit, paper check, Pay cards.Referral BonusesExpress Learn: This free opportunity allows you to expand your skills to advance your career.Holiday PayMedical BenefitsVisionDentalShort Term DisabilityTerm Life401KSick and Safe Time
