Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist

Summary About the Position: This position falls under the Logistics Division located in Fort Benning, Georgia. Major Duties Performs a full range of first-level supervisory responsibilities. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. Supervises a staff of logistics functional experts who plan, coordinate and execute district, community field office and school level support for all district student transportation requirements. Serves as the Accountable Property Office (APO) in an assigned District Superintendent's office within DoDEA in Europe, Pacific or the Americas. Serves as the second level reviewer for all DPAS transactions. Develops and implements inventory requirements and reconciles property records with the Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) within assigned AOR (area of responsibility). Serves as the District Superintendent's liaison to the designated community student meal food service provider. Coordinates installation level Inter Service Support Agreements (ISSA) in support of the District.
