Refrigeration Technician I – 2nd Shift

Join a growing frozen food manufacturing facility and help maintain critical ammonia refrigeration systems in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Hours: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Pay: $38–$42/hr DOE

Shift Differential: $0.75/hr

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday, with every other Saturday required. Sunday hours are paid at double time.

What You'll Do

Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair ammonia refrigeration systems and supporting utilities
Perform preventive maintenance on compressors, boilers, pumps, HVAC equipment, electrical controls, and related systems
Monitor equipment performance and respond to operational issues to minimize downtime
Complete inspections, repairs, and maintenance documentation
Support refrigeration projects, safety systems, and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain compliance with OSHA and industry safety standards

Qualifications

3+ years of HVAC or refrigeration experience (ammonia experience strongly preferred)
Industrial manufacturing or food processing experience preferred
Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills
Knowledge of refrigeration safety practices and OSHA compliance
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment
