AI Automation Engineer

Job Summary:


The AI/Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable AI-driven automation solutions to enhance business productivity and operational efficiency. This role involves leveraging technologies such as RPA, AI/ML, IDP, and NLP, integrating intelligent systems, and collaborating closely with business analysts and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Robot.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Integrate automations with AI/ML models, APIs, OCR engines, and NLP services such as Azure Cognitive Services, OpenAI, and Google Cloud NLP.
• Develop and implement AI algorithms and models to improve automation capabilities and decision-making.
• Utilize additional automation tools like Power Automate and Python/RPA frameworks to build hybrid solutions.
• Perform data analysis, predictive modeling, and natural language processing to support automation tasks.
• Implement best practices for automation design, logging, exception handling, and security.
• Participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and provide support for deployed bots.
• Contribute to establishing automation governance standards and best practices across the enterprise.
• Stay updated with the latest AI and automation trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve solutions.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Proven experience as a UiPath Developer with strong knowledge of UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Robot.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML models, APIs, OCR engines, and NLP services.
• Proficiency with AI technologies such as Azure Cognitive Services, OpenAI, or Google Cloud NLP.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Java for AI model development and automation scripting.
• Ability to design and implement AI algorithms to enhance automation.
• Knowledge of best practices in automation design, logging, exception handling, and security.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in UiPath development including Orchestrator, Studio, and attended/unattended bots.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and system integration.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience with other automation tools such as Power Automate or Automation Anywhere.
• Exposure to AI technologies like chatbots, conversational AI frameworks, or Intelligent Document Processing (IDP).
• Experience scripting in JavaScript or other programming languages.
• Continuous learning mindset with awareness of emerging AI and automation trends.

Scheduling:

• Standard work schedule with potential flexibility depending on project requirements.
