Cath Lab RN Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license (valid in Tennessee)
  
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN or cardiac catheterization experience
  
• Experience with moderate sedation and monitoring
  
• Strong critical thinking and cardiac nursing assessment skills
  
• Comfortable documenting care in Meditech EMR
  
• Ability to wear navy blue scrubs (not provided by hospital)
  

Key Responsibilities — Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab for diagnostic and interventional procedures
  
• Assist with procedures including LHC/RHC, stent placement, peripheral angiography, LINQ implant/explant, generator changes, and pacemaker implants
  
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation; evaluate patient response before, during, and after procedures
  
• Continuously monitor hemodynamics and cardiac rhythms; implement timely interventions per ACLS protocols
  
• Document assessments, interventions, and procedure details in Meditech EMR
  
• Collaborate with physicians, cath techs, and multidisciplinary staff to support optimal patient outcomes
