Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care in Newport, Vermont. This travel assignment starts on 08/31/2026 and runs for 8 weeks with 36 guaranteed hours per week. You’ll work 3x12 night shifts (18:45–07:15) in a skilled nursing facility, earning $1,365 to $1,386 per week.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting, following individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor for adverse reactions and document accurately.
- Monitor and document vital signs, respond to changes in condition, and escalate to the supervising clinician as needed.
- Perform basic nursing procedures (wound care, injections, IV monitoring as trained) and maintain safety protocols.
- Document care activities in the electronic health record and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
- Ensure infection prevention, privacy, and patient comfort; respond promptly to call lights and requests.

Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in Vermont or eligibility to licensure in state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
- Ability to work night shifts (3x12 schedule) and participate in a travel assignment.
- Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a skilled nursing facility environment and follow established protocols.
