Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | No On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality diagnostic imaging in both X-Ray and CT modalities within scope of practice
• Effectively explain imaging procedures to patients and ensure competency in each procedure performed
• Produce diagnostic images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner
• Deliver attentive patient care throughout the imaging process
• May be asked to float to like units to meet facility needs
• During hurricane season (June–November), all contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a multimodality technologist (first-time travelers considered on a case-by-case basis)
• Active ARRT registration in both Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) required
• SCRQSA certification required
• BLS required
• ACLS required (pending ACLS accepted if obtained within 2–3 weeks of hire)
• Radiation badge required — must be provided by the staffing agency prior to start
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible;
  local candidates may beconsidered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, and Orthopedic imaging in both modalities
• Familiarity with Siemens imaging equipment
• Proficiency with Epic EMR and PACS
