Note:

The role is not technically onsite, but the person would need to be frequently onsite during the first 1 2 months and travel to the customer semi-frequently. Therefore, being located close to Norfolk, VA is important.

Skills

Must-have

• 5 8+ years of Product Owner / Product Management experience, including backlog ownership at a program (not single-team) level
• Demonstrated experience building or planning a software platform intended for reuse and deployment across multiple clients
• Experience defining or refining KPI/measurement frameworks in partnership with a customer
• Experience gathering and translating multi-persona workflow requirements (e.g., distinct role-based experiences) into actionable backlog items
• Comfortable working onsite at a customer site for an extended discovery period
• US-person status, consistent with the CUI/FedRAMP High/IL4 access restrictions governing this engagement

Nice-to-have

• Experience in Department of Defense, Navy, or other federal/public-sector engagements
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and Google Public Sector engagement models
• Exposure to AI-enabled or agentic platforms (RAG pipelines, AI agents)
• Manufacturing, shipbuilding, or industrial operations domain knowledge
• Experience coordinating governance across multiple concurrent delivery teams
