$2720.00/week - Job Summary: A Cytotechnologist is responsible for preparing and screening specimens to detect cellular abnormalities, supporting diagnostic processes within the laboratory. The role involves collaborating with pathologists to ensure accurate referrals and diagnoses. Responsibilities: Prepare laboratory specimens for cytological analysis. Screen slides for abnormalities with precision and attention to detail. Review findings with the appropriate management team. Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures and results. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols. Qualifications: Hold an ASCP-certified Cytotechnologist (CT) credential. Possess a valid CDPH license. Have at least 2 years of experience in cytology. Obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in a Science-related field. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of cytopathology procedures.
