As an unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.22 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License:
  All candidates must possess a valid  driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This requirement is essential for positions that involve driving as part of the job responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense business location.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor and access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, business operations, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, timely reports and activity logs for incidents, patrol observations, access-related events, and other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
