Project Accountant

Track job costs, budgets, and project performance. Prepare and maintain WIP (Work In Progress) schedules. Review and process subcontractor invoices and billings. Assist with monthly close, including project‑related journal entries. Monitor project budgets and identify cost variances. Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial tracking. Support audits and maintain proper documentation. Qualifications 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction. Experience with job costing and project‑based accounting. Familiarity with WIP reporting and percentage of completion methods. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage 100/300, QuickBooks, or similar). Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
