Occupational Therapist | Acute Care & Inpatient Rehab

2 Full-Time Openings | Days | $53.05-$71.62/hr | $15K Sign-On

A hospital-based healthcare organization in Northern California is seeking two Occupational Therapists to join its rehabilitation team.

There are currently two full-time day-shift opportunities available:

• Acute Care Occupational Therapist
• Inpatient Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist

Both positions offer $53.05-$71.62 per hour, based on applicable experience, plus a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred for Occupational Therapy services
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Address deficits affecting self-care, functional mobility, upper-extremity function, cognition, perception, and daily activities
• Provide therapeutic interventions designed to improve functional independence
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment strategies and safe techniques
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, therapy, and other members of the care team
• Document evaluations, progress, and treatment outcomes

The client’s OT roles focus on evaluation and treatment across a variety of diagnoses with an emphasis on restoring function and independence.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Day shift
• 8-hour shifts
• Variable days off
• 80 hours per pay period

Minimum Qualifications

• Current California Occupational Therapist license, or eligible limited permit
• Current CPR certification
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to provide patient-centered Occupational Therapy services in a hospital or rehabilitation setting

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience in:
• Acute care
• Inpatient rehabilitation
• Extended care
• Outpatient rehabilitation
• Mental health or another related clinical setting

One year of related clinical experience is preferred rather than listed as a strict minimum.

Compensation

• $53.05-$71.62 per hour
