AR Clerk LHH Recruitment Solutions is searching for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join the accounting team of a well-established company in Central Phoenix. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid background ingeneral/corporate accounts receivable who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate financial records, and following up on outstanding balances. This role is fully onsite, Monday-Friday and is paying up to $25/hr.
This position requires accounting AR experience. Medical billing, medical collections, or healthcare AR experience will NOT be considered.

Responsibilities

• Process and post customer payments accurately and timely.
• Prepare and send customer invoices and statements.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due balances.
• Perform daily cash application and payment reconciliation.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies and account variances.
• Maintain accurate customer account records.
• Contact customers regarding outstanding balances and resolve billing questions.
• Prepare AR reports and assist with month-end reporting.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate unapplied or misapplied payments.
• Process credits, adjustments, and account corrections as needed.
• Assist with collections and maintain detailed documentation of customer communications.
• Work closely with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Assist with other accounting duties and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on Accounts Receivable experience in a corporate or business environment.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Experience with invoicing, cash application, collections, reconciliations, and AR aging.
• Strong Excel skills and general computer proficiency.
• Experience with an accounting or ERP system preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
