What You'll Do
As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Ensuring food presentation, taste, and temperature meet expectations
- Following dietary and nutritional requirements for residents
- Maintaining sanitation, cleanliness, and organization throughout the kitchen
- Assisting with meal service and dishwashing as needed
- Engaging with residents to gather feedback and enhance their dining experience
- Supporting a welcoming and hospitality-driven culture that contributes to resident satisfaction
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Culinary degree preferred
- At least one year of cooking experience in a restaurant, senior living community, or similar setting
- Passion for hospitality and serving others
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to quality, teamwork, and customer service
