CT Technologist- Per Diem

CT Technologist – Per Diem This is a per diem position at Wellington Regional Medical Center located in Wellington, Florida. Job Responsibilities Under the direct supervision of the radiologist and department manager, the CT technologist delivers Computed Tomography testing to patients of all ages. Utilizes equipment and technique for diagnostic imaging and related procedures, including localization for biopsy, aspiration, or drainage. Exercises professional judgment, applies patient care, and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Must be available for on‑call duties and arrive within thirty minutes of notification. Able to cross‑train and float to other areas and assist in training of others. Recognizes signs of stroke, initiates stroke alert, ensures availability of CT scanner, calls radiologist upon completion. Maintains currency in stroke knowledge through annual one‑hour online training.
