A bit about us:

We are a mission-driven nonprofit organization providing educational and therapeutic services to children and adults with autism, Down syndrome, and other developmental disabilities. This position is based within a specialized preschool serving children ages 3–5 in structured classrooms.

The program brings special education teachers, BCBAs, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, administrators, and families together around one goal: helping each student build the behavioral, communication, social, and developmental skills needed for kindergarten and beyond.

You became a BCBA to improve outcomes—not to create a beautiful behavior plan that spends the rest of the year living untouched in a binder. In this role, you will train the people implementing the plan, monitor what is working, adjust what is not, and help behavioral strategies become part of the student’s actual day.

This is meaningful early-intervention work with a consistent school-day schedule, small classroom ratios, an established interdisciplinary structure, and the opportunity to influence how students are supported both at school and at home.

Job Details

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans with measurable, developmentally appropriate goals
• Train and supervise classroom staff in behavioral strategies while monitoring implementation fidelity
• Review behavioral data, evaluate student progress, and modify intervention plans based on measurable outcomes
• Collaborate with special education teachers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, administrators, and families
• Prepare behavioral documentation and recommendations for CPSE meetings, annual reviews, IEP planning, and parent updates

SKILLS YOU NEED
• Required: Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification
• Required: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a closely related field
• Preferred: At least two years of BCBA experience, including experience with preschool-aged children who have developmental or behavioral support needs
• Preferred: Familiarity with IEP development, CPSE processes, annual reviews, behavioral data systems, or bilingual English/Spanish communication
