Job Coach (Full-Time)
Location: The Dalles, OR Pay: $21.75–$22.75 per hour (DOE) + $1,000 Hiring Bonus
Community Access Services (CAS) is hiring a Full-Time Job Coach to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) as they gain confidence and succeed in competitive employment throughout the community. What You'll Be Doing
- Providing one-on-one coaching and workplace support
- Encouraging independence, self-confidence, and professional workplace habits
- Supporting positive communication with supervisors and coworkers
- Helping individuals strengthen skills such as organization, time management, and problem-solving
- Completing required documentation and progress notes
- Promoting safe, inclusive, and respectful work environments
- Collaborating with employers, support teams, and coworkers to help individuals achieve long-term employment success
Qualifications
- Experience in caregiving, education, coaching, human services, or direct support is helpful but not required
- Spanish/English bilingual preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with the ability to become an approved company driver
- Ability to pass a national background check
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed
- Willingness to travel throughout Hood River and Wasco counties
