This job was posted by : For more Information, Please See The Department of Accounting at Illinois State University invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank to begin August 2027. We seek candidates who are highly qualified and motivated to teach accounting courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Primary teaching responsibilities are expected to include Intermediate Accounting and Governmental and Nonprofit Accounting. A successful candidate will be expected to: Teach undergraduate and graduate accounting courses, including Intermediate Accounting and Governmental and Nonprofit Accounting. Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement efforts within the accounting program. Pursue an active program of scholarly research consistent with expectations for a tenure-track faculty position. Engage in service activities that support the department, college, university, and accounting profession. Collaborate with faculty colleagues to support student success, recruitment, retention, and career preparation initiatives. Incorporate innovative and engaging pedagogical approaches that promote student learning and professional development. Contribute to cross functional and integrative curriculum development across accounting and related business disciplines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
