Production Planner

Position Overview: Manage all aspects of production relationships, including long-term planning of inventory and production levels, daily scheduling, and expediting to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer demands and optimize operations. Key Responsibilities Production Planning: Develop and maintain schedules aligned with company goals, working with third-party sites and centralized planning teams. Inventory Management: Implement strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels, monitor system errors, and ensure timely shipment processing. Customer Service: Achieve >95% on-time service, address customer inquiries, and communicate order status effectively. Capacity & Storage: Maximize production capacity and collaborate to resolve capacity challenges. Communication & Collaboration: Maintain consistent communication with operations, warehousing, purchasing, and on-site teams to ensure smooth processes. System Data Management: Use and improve ERP systems, preferably SAP, for accurate production data. Process Improvement: Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to identify and implement efficiencies within planning and inventory functions. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field. 1-3 years of experience in production planning or supply chain roles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, with SAP experience preferred. Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
