Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience preferred Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Ability to read and interpret measurements to 1/16 of an inch using a standard ruler Ability to multitask while operating equipment, inspecting products, and completing paperwork

Job Duties

Operate and monitor production equipment safely and efficiently Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met Measure materials and finished products accurately Package and prepare products for shipment or further processing Complete production paperwork and documentation accurately Keep machines running efficiently while monitoring product quality Remove scrap materials and maintain a clean work area Follow all safety procedures, production requirements, and work instructions Assist with material handling and production support activities as needed

Preferred Qualifications Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Converting Machine Operator.

Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 65 pounds. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
