Operations Specialist I

Operations Specialist IK&K Insurance is hiring for an Operations Specialist I for the Fort Wayne, IN area. This is a virtual position, however you will be required to go into the office during the training period, as well as for meetings/events. This position is accountable for performing all issuance functions necessary for policy entry, endorsement entry, and certificate processing on the most complex policies.What the day will look like:Submit electronically required policyholder information in AS400 such that policy activation can occurSubmit electronically required changes to policy in AS400 to produce policy change endorsementApply electronically, cash to risk screens during cash-with-app processComplete electronically policy forms in Smartcomm, final print policy or endorsement in Smartcomm and emailComplete electronic certificates of insurance as requestedServe as technical resource for Operations Coordinator in absence of Operations Specialist IIAdd and delete policy forms during Smartcomm process on behalf of Policy ProcessorsContact help desk with system related programsAttend all training classes providedPerform miscellaneous duties as assignedSkills and experience that will lead to success:2-4 years of experience in the insurance industry or a related fieldStrong computer skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteStrong oral and written communication skillsEducation: High School Diploma or GED requiredHow we support our colleagues:In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
