Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Management in Gastonia NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at an automotive location you will help maintain a secure environment by managing site access verifying credentials monitoring entry points conducting routine patrols and providing exceptional customer service. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while communicating professionally with employees visitors and team members. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification credentials visitor authorization and contractor or vendor documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points maintain visitor and vehicle access records and report access-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points parking areas business areas and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state county or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
