Job Title: Business Development Representative
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This Direct Hire opportunity is based in Houston, TX and offers a Remote work arrangement with regular in office collaboration during the week. The individual in this position will focus on expanding business visibility throughout the local market by building professional relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and strengthening community engagement efforts. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with leadership while independently managing territory development and outreach initiatives.
Compensation:
$60,000 to $80,000 annually based on experience, plus discretionary year end bonus
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Representative:

• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and professional contacts that can support long term business growth within the assigned territory.
• Coordinate outreach efforts through networking events, educational presentations, and local engagement activities to increase market awareness.
• Deliver informative presentations that communicate service offerings and foster lasting professional partnerships.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, opportunities, and territory activity within a customer relationship management system.
• Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to evaluate market trends, support expansion efforts, and strengthen regional visibility.

• Minimum of three years of experience in outside sales, business development, account management, or a similar relationship focused role.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences.
• Experience utilizing a customer relationship management platform; familiarity with widely used CRM tools is preferred.
• Strong public speaking, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills with confidence in professional networking environments.
• High school diploma required along with the ability to work independently, manage territory activities, and maintain a self directed approach to achieving objectives.
