IT Project Manager/Workday Release Manager

Lineage Logistics is seeking an IT Project Manager/Workday Release Manager to lead and coordinate small to medium‑scale technology initiatives within our ERP environment. The role focuses on governance, SOX-related activities, release management in Workday (HR + Finance), audit readiness, and operational stability. Primary Responsibilities Manage large, global technical projects (up to 20+ resources), establishing relationships with functional and technical teams and integrating requirement definitions, project planning, and resource direction. Partner with global project sponsors, project teams, other project managers, and product managers to evaluate technical and business requirements and develop implementation approaches. Work closely with consulting partners and technology vendors, coordinating change tracking, release coordination support, and control‑related process improvements. Coordinate and track monthly and quarterly SOX IT controls, including detective and monitoring controls related to ERP and supporting systems. Collaborate with Internal Audit, Finance, HR, and IT teams to collect evidence, document controls, and track remediation. Support audit requests and maintain organized documentation to demonstrate control effectiveness. Manage small to mid‑sized system enhancements and operational initiatives, ensuring scope, timelines, and stakeholder alignment. Bring structure and follow‑through to recurring operational processes that span multiple teams. Track and report risks, delays, and ownership gaps to leadership in a clear and timely manner. Help standardize documentation and repeatable processes across Finance and HR system support activities. Education and Work Experience • University degree or equivalent work experience in software engineering, computer science, finance, or business administration.• 3 to 7 years of IT project management experience with enterprise application software, including Workday HR + Finance.• Experience managing both small and large‑scale projects, and supporting SOX IT controls, audit activities, or compliance‑related processes.• Preference for client‑side/internal PM roles rather than consulting‑only environments.• Experience with Workday (knowledge of other ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is a plus). Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear audit documentation and stakeholder updates. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage recurring deadlines (e.g., monthly controls). Comfortable working in environments where processes are still maturing and able to follow up persistently to ensure tasks are completed. Knowledge of the ServiceNow ticketing tool (preferred). Knowledge of JIRA (preferred). Knowledge of project management best practices and methodologies. Ability to identify gaps in ownership and help drive accountability across IT, Finance, and HR stakeholders. Work Conditions Remote work; no sponsorship of work authorization.
