Registered Respiratory Therapist
The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in an acute care setting. Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential for optimal patient outcomes. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, with a focus on night shifts and weekends. A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practice guidelines is expected. Strong communication and critical thinking skills are necessary for success in this role. The therapist will utilize the electronic charting system for documentation of care provided.
Minimum 2 years experience required. Licenses and certifications required include ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and PALS (AHA).
