Position Details:

We are seeking a Personal Care Worker to support one of our clients with 1-on-1 in-home care in Hudson, WI.

• Shifts: We are offering both evening and overnight shifts. Evening shifts feature a set rate of $17.25/hour . Overnight shifts pay $14.50/hour and offer sleep-time flexibility , provided the client is asleep and does not require immediate assistance.
• Weekends: Every other weekend may be required, depending on client needs.
• Scheduling: Schedules vary based on client needs. Our Human Resources team will work with you to find a schedule that fits your availability.

What You’ll Do:

As a Personal Care Worker, you’ll provide hands-on support while creating a safe, positive, and respectful environment for the people we serve. Your responsibilities may include:

• Creating a welcoming environment that supports clients’ individual needs, goals, and self-expression.
• Monitoring clients and providing support based on their individual needs.
• Utilize positive behavior support plans to minimize behavioral disruptions, helping clients stay on track with daily routines and safely navigate moments of distress.
• Assisting with or providing personal care , including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, hair care, and oral hygiene.
• Preparing meals and performing light housekeeping.
• Providing transportation to activities and medical appointments.
• Building positive relationships with clients and learning their individual routines, preferences, behaviors, and communication styles.
• Treating every client with dignity, patience, and respect.
• Working collaboratively with coworkers, managers, and other members of the care team.

No prior caregiving experience? No problem. We provide paid training to help you feel confident and prepared to succeed in your role.

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Proof of insurance and reliable transportation required.
• Dependable and responsible.
• Compassionate and respectful.
• Comfortable working with a variety of individuals, needs, routines, and behaviors.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
