As a Security Officer Access Coordination in Pontiac, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide exceptional customer service. Through visible presence, clear communication, and routine patrols, you will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $18.68 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, issue temporary access credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, restricted areas, parking facilities, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate incident, visitor, and access control documentation while communicating professionally with client representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
