Details Work in a hospital-based oncology infusion clinic setting Monday to Friday schedule, 7am-5pm, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week No weekends or holidays required Day shift assignment Adult oncology patient population Requirements Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certificate from the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Additional Information Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other medications including PO and SC injections as ordered by physician Initiate, regulate, and monitor IV infusions and blood products Assist physicians during conscious sedation and minor diagnostic procedures Obtain and monitor physiological data, documenting patient responses to interventions and treatments Provide chemotherapy-related patient and family education Coordinate patient follow-up care including referrals and post-visit phone calls Delegate tasks to support staff as needed Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position American Traveler Job ID P-741851.
