SQL DBA

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a SQL Developer to join their team. As a SQL Developer, you will be part of the Data Support Department supporting the Bank's analytics and operational reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: SQL Admin Location: Charlotte, NC (Brevard) - Onsite required 3x weekly What's the Job? Manage and support medium-to-high profile database projects within the Microsoft SQL Server environment. Configure and maintain Always On availability groups, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities. Collaborate with technology teams and business partners to implement data architecture solutions aligned with organizational goals. Provide analysis, design, and support for data-related projects, including issue resolution and root cause analysis. Develop comprehensive documentation on technical procedures, implementation steps, and best practices. What's Needed? At least 4+ years of experience in Database Engineering or equivalent, including hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server, Always On, and SSIS (including SSISDB). Experience supporting SQL Server environments in a DBA capacity, not as a developer. Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2019-2022 and configuration management. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Nice to have: Autosys experience and familiarity with ServiceNow platform. What's in it for me?
