SNELLING is currently seeking a Service Desk Dispatcher for a well-established East Texas technology services company . This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for an organized, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Service Desk Dispatcher serves as the central point of contact for incoming service requests, coordinating technician schedules, prioritizing support tickets, and ensuring customers receive timely assistance. Candidates who demonstrate strong attendance, performance, and professionalism may be considered for permanent hire.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer service requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems
• Coordinate and dispatch technical resources for remote and on-site support needs
• Schedule technicians and monitor workloads to maximize efficiency and customer response times
• Route incoming service tickets to the appropriate support teams
• Monitor open tickets to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met
• Communicate with customers regarding ticket status, updates, and resolution progress
• Escalate service requests that cannot be resolved within established service levels
• Maintain accurate service ticket documentation, including notes, time entries, and updates
• Track technician schedules and resource utilization
• Assist with reporting service activity and operational metrics to management
• Support continuous improvement of customer service processes and team productivity
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience preferred
• Previous customer service, dispatching, scheduling, call center, or administrative experience preferred
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Strong typing and data entry skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• No criminal convictions
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
