Hood Technician

Hood TechnicianThe Hood Technician is responsible for inspecting and lubricating cars in a quick, yet thorough manner for customers in a professional and efficient manner. This position reports to the Store Manager and Service Manager. This position will adhere to and promote the Company mission while operating within the confines of the Company's core values and contributing to the success of their functional team.Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Complete work accurately and quickly allowing customers to remain in their vehiclesPerform multi-point inspectionInspect vehicles for additional repairs neededAdvise service consultant/tech for additional workInspect fluid levels of power steering reservoir and transmissionInspect belts, hoses, and wiper bladesCheck air pressure of tiresDemonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's vision, mission and values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, managers, and suppliers.Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standardsMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.We are looking for: Knowledge in automotive repair and maintenance desired but not requiredAbility to read and comprehend written instructions and informationValid driver's licenseAbility to operate and drive vehiclesAbility to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screenEffective communication and interpersonal skills with customersCustomer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environmentWillingness to work SaturdaysPhysical Requirements & Working Conditions: Exposure to inclement weatherProlonged periods of standing, stopping, and bendingExerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10-24 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than 10 pounds of force to move objectsRequires walking or standing to a significant degree.All of your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
