Job Posting Title Specialist Facility HUMAN RESOURCES Location DeLand, FL Category OTHER PROFESSIONAL STAFF – NONADMINISTRATIVE/NONINSTRUCTIONAL Classification 02-Administrative/Non-Instruct Posting Number D3800294 Date Posted 09/25/2026 Closing Date 10/09/2026 Job Description POSITION GOAL To assist in planning, coordinating, and managing the operations of Human Resources administrative functions with emphasis on position management, professional staffing, and support services PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES 1. *Manage district’s position management process for all staffing. 2. *Prepare allocations in position management system for annual employee reappointment process. 3. *Prepare, implement, and monitor all personnel allocations to remain within the district’s staffing formula. 4. *Serve as a member and record-keeper of the Position Review Committee and maintain a list of requests, along with associated documentation, for review. 5. *Process adjustments to allocated positions throughout the school year based upon approved school/department requests and available resources to ensure the integrity of the staffing process, in coordination with the Budget Department and Chief Financial Officer as needed. 6. *Prepare reports to be provided to district and school-based personnel related to staffing. 7. *Provide training to appropriate school and district personnel related to staffing and allocations. 8. *Manage staffing and position management related to all federal funding sources, in coordination with the Budget Department and Grants Department. 9. *Review and analyze Staff Position Request forms and provide data for review and approval of the Executive Director and Chief of Staff. 10. *Participate in the development of the district’s annual budget in coordination with the Budget Department and Chief Financial Officer. 11. *Maintain salary distribution data for all positions/employees in consultation with the Budget Department and Chief FinancialOfficer. 12. *Maintain salary slots in the district’s ERP and ensure that only negotiated and board-approved rates are applied. 13. *Oversee the preparation of summer school staffing allocations. 14. *Run human resources processes, edits and reports assigned. 15. *Perform other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Human Resources or Chief Financial Officer *Denotes essential job function/ADA REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree required Major or specialization in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Five (5) years experience in human resources, personnel management or governmental accounting preferred REQUIRED SKILLS Knowledge of administrative computer applications as related to departmental job functions Ability to exercise sound judgment in handling problem situations Knowledge of applicable laws, rules, policies and procedures Knowledge of governmental accounting standards Ability to plan, organize and prioritize a varied workload Strong mathematical skills Ability to solve problems, make decisions and take action in an effective and timely manner Ability to function productively with minimum supervision Ability to analyze, interpret and use data in decision-making Ability to conduct effective training classes Ability to exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others and communicate effectively REPORTS TO Executive Director, Human Resources SUPERVISES Support staff as assigned Salary Info $73,468 to $84,447 #J-18808-Ljbffr Focus School Software LLC
