Our client is a well‑established commercial general contractor with nearly 50 years of success delivering ground‑up construction across Massachusetts. Job Description

• Support project management activities on ground‑up commercial construction projects
• Assist with budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and document control
• Work closely with estimating and leadership during preconstruction and conceptual estimating phases
• Participate in design‑build coordination with architects, engineers, and clients
• Help manage projects from award through closeout, typically focused on one project at a time
• Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and cost reporting using Procore
• Attend job meetings and coordinate with field teams to ensure schedule and quality goals are met

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction should have:

• 2+ years of experience in an Assistant Project Manager or similar role
• Background in ground‑up commercial construction preferred
• Exposure to design‑build delivery methods is a strong plus
• Working knowledge of Procore and Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic understanding of construction estimating and cost controls
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to commute daily to the Central Massachusetts office and job sites
