Unarmed Security Officer – Employment Opportunity As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will be part of a security team that supports critical facilities and infrastructure and public venues requiring enhanced presence and asset protective services. Job Responsibilities Cover posts such as customer counter, employee, vehicle entrances, guard houses, gates, construction gates, parking lot, perimeter, etc. Screen employees (in/out) and personal baggage at pedestrian and vehicle entrances. Verify seal controls on vehicles at gateway (cut and apply seals). Verify identity badges of personnel for clearance and screen vehicles. Manage temporary badge process. Conduct roving patrols on foot or in vehicle around perimeter fences, gates, buildings, warehouses, storage areas, switchyards, etc. Identify fire hazards, unauthorized activity, malfunctioning utility, hazardous conditions. Monitor CCTV. Operate X‑ray machine. Perform additional duties related to security of premises as required. May be required to perform emergency duties that require physical exertion such as standing or walking for an entire shift, climbing stairs, lifting, carrying up to 50 lbs. and running.
