Project Manager/Estimator

Express Employment of Grand Junction is actively recruiting a Project Manager/Estimator for a long-standing Grand Junction construction company.


The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge of earthwork and utility construction. Construction Management degree preferred with 3 years of experience but not required.


Duties include:

• • Submittals and material procurement
• • Preparation of accurate and comprehensive construction estimates by analyzing blueprints, schematics and project specifications using tools such as B2W Construction estimating software
• • Develop detailed project schedules
• • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and employees
• • Manage project documentation including change orders, RFI's and progress reports
• • Monitor job site meetings.

Skills Include:

• • Strong computer skills
• • Knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore and Textura
• • Ability to develop realistic timelines for civil projects
• • Solid understanding of blueprint reading
• • Time management
• • Familiarity with construction management principles including safety protocols, quality control and site logistics.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.


Must have a valid driver's license


Must have a working knowledge of earthwork and underground utilities


Prefer a bachelor's degree, but will consider experience in lieu of.
