This is a full-time role with competitive benefits./ppIn This Role:/pulliYou will be using automated analyzers, microscopes, and other laboratory diagnostic tools to perform analyses and tests that diagnose animal illnesses, injuries, and diseases in support of veterinarian animal treatment./liliYou will be performing diagnostic tests on blood, urine, fecal, or pet biopsy samples that we receive in our lab by the thousands, every day./liliYou will be responsible for setting up and running lab tests and reading and releasing results according to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)./liliYou can expect to specialize in one or more of the following areas: Hematology, Chemistry, and/or Urinalysis/li/ulpWhat Youll Need To Succeed:/pulliYou must have 1-2+ experience working in a clinical diagnostic laboratory setting up, running, reading lab tests, and operating laboratory equipment (microscopes and / or clinical diagnostic analyzers) in a high volume Clinical Diagnostic Lab/liliYou have attended school, formal academia OR in-depth, equivalent work experience focusing on Clinical Pathology/Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist/liliASCP/AMT Certification is a plus/liliStrong competency/experience in 1 or more the following Bench areas:/liulliHematology: Your skillset includes experience running samples on or operating one or more of the following analyzers: Sysmex; Di60 Cell Image Analyzer or CellaVision/liliYou have an ability to complete manual differential cell counts and coagulation tests in high-volume workload/liliChemistry: Your skillset includes the ability to utilize different centrifuge machines, Beckman Chemistry Analyzers or Immulite Analyzers/liliUrinalysis: Your skillset includes the ability to operate a CLINITEK Novus Analyzer and experience manually analyzing urine samples using a microscope/liliClinical Analyzer Maintenance / Quality Control Experience a plus/li/ulliYou have reliable and precise data management skills to record and maintain precise records and diagnostic reports/liliYou are able to conduct maintenance, basic troubleshooting and calibration on laboratory analyzers/liliYou have excellent time management skills that will be beneficial in a high-volume, fast-paced laboratory environment/liliCommunication skills are a must as we work collectively as a team!/liliYou have a great sense of team spirit and responsibility/liliAble to meet the physical requirements that go with working in a lab standing and sitting for extended periods of time, phone computer use, extended reach, lifting up to 50lb, and specific vision ability close, color, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus./liliThis is a laboratory, so there is potential exposure to biohazards, agents known to cause zoonotic diseases, and hazardous chemicals./li/ulpWhat You Can Expect From Us:/pulliHourly rate targeting: $ 24-27+ with flexibility based on skillset of candidate/liliOpportunity for annual cash bonus/liliOpportunity for performance based annual merit increase/liliHealth / Dental / Vision Benefits Day - One/lili5% matching 401k/liliOn the job training and career advancement opportunities/liliAdditional benefits including but not limited to financial support, pet insurance, mental health resources, volunteer paid days off, employee stock program, foundation donation matching, and much more!/li/ulpSchedule:/pulliThe hours for this position are Tuesday through Saturday, 2am - 10:30am, with an every-other Sunday rotation./li/ulpWhy IDEXX?/ppWere proud of the work we do, because our work matters.
