Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | 2 Holiday Shifts Required | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly (Excluding On-Call Time)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting, including patients presenting with trauma, accidents, and acute medical emergencies
• Perform thorough patient assessments and accurately document care using electronic health record systems

• Administer and electronically record medication administration in accordance with facility protocols
• Deliver care within a Level 1 Trauma Center environment, managing high-acuity patients requiring immediate intervention
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure timely and effective emergency care across a large, state-of-the-art ED

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system required
• Availability to work every other weekend and 2 holiday shifts as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume, large-scale Emergency Department
• Familiarity with behavioral health patient populations within an ED setting
