Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Wake Forest University School of Medicine are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Academic OB/GYN Generalist to join our growing Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Winston Salem, North Carolina. This faculty opportunity offers the ideal balance of comprehensive women's healthcare, resident and medical student education, and academic engagement within one of the nation's leading academic health systems.
As a member of our faculty, you will practice full-scope Obstetrics and Gynecology while contributing to a collaborative academic environment dedicated to exceptional patient care, medical education, and scholarly advancement.
Highlights:
Full Scope OBGYN: Engage in a mix of GYN and OB visits, including routine and problem cases, managing routine/complex pregnancies, and performing gynecological surgeries.
Flexible Schedule: Enjoy 8 half days of clinical work and 2 half days for administrative tasks.
Education Focus: Mentor residents and medical students and shape the next generation of OBGYN professionals.
As a faculty member, you'll practice alongside nationally recognized specialists in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility, and Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery while helping shape the next generation of physicians. Faculty enjoy a balanced schedule with dedicated academic time, the support of Epic and DAX Copilot technology, and opportunities for professional growth within Wake Forest University School of Medicine and Advocate Health, one of the nation's largest nonprofit health systems.
