Jeffersonville, United States JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Emergency Medicine Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Jeffersonville, IN Service Setting: Emergency Department Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Nov 23, 2026 – May 24, 2027 Clinical Shift Schedule: 7a-7p Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Airfare, lodging, and car rental covered by client PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Volume/Census: 27,692 annual patient volume FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 12 beds EMR System: Epic JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Indiana Medical License (IMLC candidates considered) Board: ABEM or AOBEM Board Certification required DEA: Indiana DEA and CSR required Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Medicine experience DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide emergency department coverage for 12-bed ED with 24-hour physician coverage. Manage an average of 0.6 patients per hour during night shifts and 3.0 patients per hour during day shifts. Utilize Epic for documentation. Collaborate with APC coverage (18-24 hours). Ensure compliance with Indiana medical license, DEA, and board certification requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
