Bridge Inspection Team Leader in Raleigh

Bridge Inspection Team Leader – Carolinas Region (Raleigh, NC) We are searching for an experienced Bridge Inspection Team Leader to support our Carolinas Region located in Raleigh, NC. Applicants must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent. What you’ll be doing: Lead a two‑man bridge inspection team performing in‑depth safety inspections on all types of structures in North Carolina. Work outdoors at considerable heights, in hazardous conditions such as traffic congestion, slopes, high steel, confined areas, and scaffolds. Prepare detailed inspection reports that evaluate structural integrity and load‑bearing capacity. Train new inspectors, schedule team activities, and coordinate inspections with personnel, vendors, stakeholders, and traffic maintenance. Operate access equipment and other tools required for inspections. Maintain safety shoes as a condition of employment. What you need to have: Experience conducting field inspections and preparing inspection reports, and a strong working knowledge of NBIS. NBIS Bridge Inspection Course completed. NHI Safety Inspection of In‑Service Bridges course with refresher training within the last 5 years. Minimum of 5 years of bridge inspection experience, including at least 1 year as an NBIS Team Leader. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. Valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle report. Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screening in accordance with federal guidelines. In‑state travel required. Strong writing and communication skills.
