Position Overview
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a key component of the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders to plan ballistic missile defense operations, collectively monitor the battle, and dynamically control networked sensors and weapon systems to achieve global and regional mission goals. C2BMC supports layered missile defense capabilities and serves as a force multiplier by networking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations globally and regionally to improve performance.
Essential Functions
- Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts with tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to identify opportunities for process and automation improvements.
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using Bash, Python, Ansible, and PowerShell.
- Test and validate automation solutions to ensure they meet requirements and are defect-free.
- Maintain detail-oriented tracking of infrastructure events and actions such as patching and maintenance.
Basic Qualifications
Please list your current security clearance and IAT or relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, with 8 years of experience; or a Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant work experience; or 12 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree.
- Current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, etc.) at the time of application. The candidate is responsible for maintaining this certification throughout the contract period.
- Current, active in-scope DoD-issued Top Secret security clearance at the time of application.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Red Hat OpenStack, or Nutanix.
- Experience with Linux and/or Windows Server system administration.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Ansible.
- Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing configuration management using Ansible.
- Prior experience with a Nutanix Hyperconverged on-prem cloud platform.
- Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Experience working on a Scrum team in an Agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Scrum Master experience and certification are a plus.

Primary Level Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,900.00
