Job Title: Houseperson

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Divi Carina Bay Resort

We are currently seeking a Houseperson to join our team. The Houseperson will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel. The ideal candidate will be a hardworking individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

- Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms

- Assist housekeeping staff with cleaning and restocking guest rooms

- Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained

- Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints

- Assist with laundry and other housekeeping duties as needed

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly (i.e. a large sofa) if necessary and put them in the room if requested
• Possess ability to make notes in written form as well as verbally to ensure that all guests are happy with their room and hotel services
• Must be able to work outside for long hours in order to clean areas needed before guests arrive at the property
• Extremely neat and organized since guests will want their rooms to be spotless after a long day at work
