Maintenance Technician – Covington, LA 70433
Experienced Maintenance Technician Needed – START ASAP
We are hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Covington, LA 70433 .
We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking, hands-on maintenance professional who can hit the ground running. If you have previous apartment/multifamily maintenance experience, take pride in your work, and are ready to start ASAP, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Complete resident work orders and service requests
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general maintenance issues
- Perform preventative maintenance throughout the property
- Assist with apartment turns and make-ready work
- Maintain vacant units, common areas, and property equipment
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally
- Help keep the property safe, clean, and well-maintained
- Follow property safety procedures and maintenance standards
Requirements
- Previous apartment/multifamily maintenance experience REQUIRED
- Must be able to start ASAP
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
- General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances
- Reliable transportation
- Must be dependable and have excellent attendance
- Ability to work independently and stay productive
- Strong work ethic and professional attitude
- HVAC/EPA certification is a plus
