Objective: The Cooks/Kitchen Helper Position is responsible for assisting in the serving and preparation of food. In addition, maintaining good housekeeping in the kitchen and dining areas
Essential Functions:
- Knowledgeable in proper cooked and uncooked food temperatures
- Knowledge of all safety guidelines in kitchen
- Cleans and checks service equipment
- Able to identify and safely use all kitchen equipment.
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Cleans and maintains kitchen facilities
- Assists in moving and storing supplies
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to have a highly motivated and energetic personality.
- Working Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment.
Position Type: Full-time
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to carry 25-50 lbs.
- Able to stand for multiple hours.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three months experience in a food service area
- Active Food Handler Safety Training Card
Additional Qualifications:
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
- 2 Step TB test
- Work Physical
- Fingerprints (Background Check)
