Maintenance Technician

The Assistant Property Manager/Facilities Technician is a hands-on, field-forward property and facilities support role for the small employee team that manages and maintains the properties. This position supports the Property Manager and company leadership by helping execute routine maintenance, property oversight, vendor coordination, reporting, and property management administration across approximately 8 commercial properties within roughly a 20-mile radius of Portland, Oregon. The role is expected to be approximately 60% field-based and 40% desk-based, although the mix may vary depending on projects, seasonal needs, emergencies, property manager vacation coverage, and company priorities. This is a true hybrid role. The successful candidate must be comfortable working with tools, ladders, lifts, checklists, inspections, minor repairs, and property clean-up, while also being able to use a computer, communicate professionally by text/email/phone, document work, complete reports, follow up with vendors, and assist with property management administration within approved authority levels.
