The ideal candidate will have previous welding experience and be comfortable working in a steel fabrication environment. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to produce quality welds, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive workplace.ResponsibilitiesPerform welding and fabrication tasks according to job specificationsWeld and assemble steel components using proper techniques and equipmentRead and interpret measurements, drawings, and work instructionsInspect completed welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and structural integritySet up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and toolsPerform grinding, cutting, and other metal fabrication duties as neededFollow all safety procedures and company guidelinesMaintain a clean and organized work areaWork with team members to meet production goals and deadlinesRequirementsPrevious welding experience requiredExperience working with steel fabrication preferredAbility to safely operate welding equipment and hand toolsAbility to read measurements and follow detailed instructionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to stand, lift, bend, and work in a physical environmentReliable transportation and strong attendance requiredDress Code / PPE RequirementsWork-appropriate clothing requiredSteel-toe boots requiredLong pants required (no shorts)Long-sleeve shirt or welding-appropriate protective clothing requiredWelding helmet/hood and proper eye protection requiredWelding gloves requiredNo open-toed shoes, loose clothing, or unsafe footwear permittedSchedule & PayMonday – Friday7:00 AM – 3:00 PM$22.00/hourOvertime opportunities available depending on workloadThis is a great opportunity for an experienced welder looking for steady hours, competitive pay, and a long-term position in a professional fabrication environment.
