Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring a UT or compact RN license and prior cardiac cath lab experience.
Details
Acute care setting in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit
Monday-Friday day shift schedule, 7a-3p, 9-hour shifts
Call responsibilities required
Uses EPIC EMR
40 hours per week guaranteed
12 hours of orientation provided
Requirements
Active UT or Compact RN license required; pending licenses not accepted
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
Minimum 2 years of experience required
BSN not required
Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility as a condition of eligibility
Driver's license copy required for consideration
Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility
Additional Information
Provide direct patient care within a cardiac cath lab setting
Float radius policy applies, requiring travelers to float within their hired zone
Candidates may not have been directly employed by any facility within the health system in the past year, though PRN employment through outside firms will be considered
